Vistas al Desierto
An exciting remote desert trip using some of Len Beadell's 'roads' into an area where I don't think any of us have ever been. (New members welcome; may need some vehicle modifications).

Augusta Whale Watching
The idea is to make our own long weekend and go down to Augusta on Friday for a whale watching cruise on Saturday. This is an ideal spot to watch the whales up close, and it is one of the only places where Southern Right and Humpback whales actually interact as they head for warm waters to mate and breed.
Legend Charters have many good reviews and they have a 23 person boat that does charters in Flinders Bay. Tours depart 10.30am and 1.30pm daily from the Davies Road Boat ramp, returning 2 to 3 hours later.
If we do the 1:30 tour it will give people who may want to come from Perth on Saturday morning the chance to come along.
You will need to make your own booking online at http://legendcharters.net.au/whale-watching-tours/ or call them on 0419 908 742 and tell them you are with the club to get a Concession rate of $69.
We plan to stay at the Molloy Island Caravan Park as it was liked by people who stayed there on a recent club trip. This will allow for people to bring their camper trailers or caravans if they want. There is also some on-site accommodation or if people wish a bit more luxury they could stay in Augusta and meet us for the cruise.

Great Aussie Camp Out
Great Aussie Camp Out (GACO) 2014 will bring together thousands of Australians for one big night where they will share the experience of camping out under the stars... in their backyards, on a river bank, in a camp, a park, a caravan park, in fact, anywhere they may feel like!
We will join in and head to Lake Leschenaultia which is nestled in the bushland of Chidlow on Rosedale Road just 50 minutes drive east of Perth.

Beach Run
Our annual beach run is on again second Sunday in January. Again it will be in the area between Tims Thicket and Myalup. We will decide closer to the day as to whether we go North or South. This is always an excellent day to experience beach driving. Suitable for everyone. If you have just joined the Club please come along. Weather permitting you will get a chance to have a swim at the lunch break.

Yeagarup Hut & Dunes
This trip will take us into the D’Entrecasteaux National Park for the long weekend where we will have the exclusive use of the Yeagarup hut. This is in Karri forest south west of Pemberton and only a short drive from a major sand dune system. We will be going through the dunes to the beach between the Warren and Donnelley Rivers
