Come join us for a quick weekend trip, just 3 hours up the Indian Ocean Drive, past Lancelin and Wedge Island to the Sandy Cape camping ground which is just north of the North Head of Jurien Bay.

Travellers Rest
Every traveller needs a rest at some point and this is it. Camp sites have been booked at BIG 4 Peppermint Caravan Park on the eastern edge of Busselton (3 blocks away from the beach). The caravan park has children's play facilities, swimming pool and BBQ area. The plan is for a relaxing time, to read, swim, explore visit wineries etc. The only planned 4wd trip is on Sunday near Yallingup followed by a swim and picnic dinner at Meelup Beach via the Dunsborough Bakery. The rest of the time is to pursue your own interests with traditional beer O'clock about 5ish.

Wandoo Night Drive
We will be following 4WD Days out of Perth trip #1 which follows a series of forestry tracks from "the Lakes" past Mt Observation before circling the edge of the water catchment area through undulating Wandoo forest.

Beaut Barrabup
For the ANZAC day long weekend we will be going to Barrabup Sanctuary http://www.barrabupsanctuary.com.au/Home.html which is 32 Hectares of mainly Jarrah, Marri, Blackbutt, Banksia and Rivergum with frontage on the beautiful Blackwood River just north of Nannup. We will have one of the campgrounds for our private use and it has shaded campsites water, flush toilets and hot showers. It’s also possible to bring camper trailers or small caravans.
The cost will be $15 per person per night and children are free.

Yarloop to Baden Powell
This day trip is 4WD Days out of Perth trip #14 in reverse. It starts at Yarloop and travels along a number of forestry tracks through Lane Pool Reserve before returning to Perth via Dwellingup.
We are starting late to allow for the option of having dinner at the Jarrahdale Tavern on the way home.

Helena and Aurora Ranges
The Helena and Aurora Range (Aboriginal name 'Bungalbin') is a magnificent banded ironstone formation (BIF) range about 100km north of Southern Cross.
We will be bush camping at the base of the ranges and there are no facilities nearby. Sunday we will go exploring around the area, returning to Perth on Monday perhaps via Beacon and some interesting isolated bush land reserves.
The trip subject to weather conditions as this area turns to mud after rain. An alternative trip will run if this happens, same type of camping trip, just different direction.

PSOT Sand Training & Recovery Day
I am running and super soft sand day trip aimed at mainly training and recovery methods. We will be exploring a few sand bowls in the Nangara Pine Plantation (whats left of it) going through sand driving and techniques, tire pressures, and vehicle recovery options when someone gets stuck. the day will start around 8.30am and finish shortly after lunch.

Group Lift Kit Order
For anyone interested in ordering a lift kit, I have got hold of someone in the eastern states who is able to manufacture 2" Lift sets, and 1" lift blocks for assorted vehicles.
