Westways Wildflowers
Westways is a 2000ha wildflower, sheep and tree farm in the Kwongon heathlands. Situated just north of Moora it produces a large range of wildflowers which it preserves and exports mainly to Japan.

Parkerville Hike
Come for a casual walk into John Forrest National Park from Parkerville. It is about 4.5 to 5 km along a wide gravel track also used by horse riders and mountain bikers. It passes by the historic Hovea Train Station and the Avon River, including Hovea Falls.

Nosing around Ninghan
Ninghan Station is situated approximately 360 kilometres from Perth on the Great Northern Highway.
The idea is to drive around the area and stop at a few of the points of interest and hopefully see some wildflowers.
Sitting at the junction of four bioregions, the property marks the transition from remnant eucalyptus woodlands to expansive mulga plains and native sandalwood is widespread on the property.
There are many granite outcrops scattered throughout the property which support many birds and animals and in spring it can be full of wildflowers including many varieties of orchids.
There are basic facilities available at the homestead but we will be bush camping away from the crowds.
Fuel is available on the way at Wubin about 100 km away.

Annual Beach Run
Our annual beach run is on again second Sunday in January. Again it will be in the area between Tims Thicket and Myalup. We will decide closer to the day as to whether we go North or South North. This is always an excellent day to experience a lot of beach driving. Suitable for everyone. If you have just joined the Club please come along. Weather permitting you will get a chance to have a swim at the lunch break.

Beaut Barrabup
For the Australia day long weekend we will be going to Barrabup Sanctuary http://www.barrabupsanctuary.com.au/Home.html which is 32 Hectares of mainly Jarrah, Marri, Blackbutt, Banksia and Rivergum with frontage on the beautiful Blackwood River just north of Nannup. We will have one of the campgrounds for our private use and it has shaded campsites water, flush toilets and hot showers. It’s also possible to bring camper trailers or small caravans.
The cost will be $15 per person per night.
